Angelo Santamaria

An electrical engineer and executive, Angelo Robert Santamaria has extensive experience overseeing operations at American firms producing advanced-technologies including semiconductors, solar plant equipment, and water treatment equipment. Over his almost two-decade long career, he has engineered high year-on-year revenue growth at a number of firms by investing in research to decrease manufacturing costs and increasing international market shares. He was also instrumental in the development of the first commercial superconductor manufacturing operation. Currently, Angelo R. Santamaria serves as vice president of global manufacturing operations at Oasys Water, a Boston firm that provides forward osmosis technologies that help American and Chinese industries clean wastewater.

Mr. Santamaria is an alumnus of Northeastern University in Boston, where he earned a BS in electrical engineering and an MBA. Prior to his current position, he served as executive vice president of operations for Panelclaw, a North Andover, Massachusetts, firm that provides mounting systems for commercial solar power plants. In this position, which he held from 2011 until 2014, he oversaw a 15 percent increase in sales, achieving $25 million in yearly revenues while decreasing manufacturing costs by 40 percent.
